Unlike the rest of India, the village of Malana has its own religious beliefs. Apart from their undying faith in Shiva , they believe in their Devta , Jamlu Rishi. It is said that the sage from the Puranas once inhabited the land and laid the foundation of the democracy, which still works as a fully functional

Duration: 4Nights/ 5Days

Day1: Delhi to Bhuntar

  • As you arrive at Delhi, board bus to
    Manali from ISBT

Day2: Bhuntar to Malana

  • On arrival at  Bhuntar, you will be taken to Malana camp stay
  • You check in at the camp
  • Later we will go to explore Remote Malana, high on a hillside 20km up a side valley north of Jari, is one strange village. Its people – descended, according to legend, from deserters from Alexander the Great’s army – speak their own unique language, operate what’s called the world’s oldest democracy, consider outsiders unclean and step aside if you pass them to avoid being touched.
  • After you are back to the camp, enjoy the Campfire dinner arranged
  • Overnight stay at the camps

Day3: Malana village hopping

  • Today  you have trekking activity which is a guided trek uphill Malana and back
  • Followed by leisure time which can be used to explore Malana culture
  • Overnight stay at the camp after dinner

Day4: Departure to Delhi

  • Today after breakfast we drop you off at bhuntar for
    boarding bus to Delhi

Day5: Delhi

  • You arrive at Delhi in the morning.
